These are the WebPages of Ian, a retired Englishman
living in Lima, Peru. Have I bored you already? Well, read on; I
haven't retired from life, my past life has been far from boring
and it isn't boring now.
Please sign my guest book at the foot of this
page. Then go on to read my travelers tales of my journeys in
Peru and South America.
When the pop-up ad appears just
single-left-click on the page in view, it will be hidden and you
won't see it again.
You can read here tales of my travels around
South America since I retired in March 1997. This will save me
from becoming the ultimate pub bore and you can read all my tales
here without having to buy me a beer (but one day I may catch up
with you!)
The WebPages are nearly all text, with no
sound and no video. Images are provided by linked pages from
thumbnail pictures. (Just double click on the thumbnail to see
the whole picture.) I will be very glad to receive comments and
constructive criticism!

Lima
Since I am many thousands of miles away from
most of my friends my first page describes my life now here in Lima, how I spend my time, where I
go and who I know. All those in this category can go there by
clicking above. Those who know me here in Lima can, if they wish,
skip that page.
All of you then have a choice of one of the following pages

South American Explorers is an organisation with

and cheaper.
Manchester became my adopted city and if there are
two things I miss it is the concerts at the Bridgewater Hall and
Band on the Wall (now there's a contradiction!). Now, for me, it
really is a virtual city and Lima, Peru is my new
home.
Ask Jeeves is on my list because, although he is a
little quirky, he invariably comes up with an answer. Of course
you have to ask the right question but he really is a useful
chap.
Since I started these WebPages I have got
involved in another WebPage project which required me to lift the
lid of Pandoras box and get into HTML progamming. I can strongly
recommend the following free sources which I found really
valuable.
